I. TITLE: BARKADA BABASA BIBIDA (Project B3)
VII. PROPONENT: BARKADA KONTRA DROGA – VILLA PEREZ NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
VIII. RATIONALE:
At its core, teaching reading nurtures literacy skills, which are fundamental for
success in education, employment, and daily life. When learners acquire the ability to
decode written language, understand its meaning, and comprehend complex texts, they
become empowered to navigate the world of information effectively. Literacy opens doors
to a wide range of opportunities, enabling individuals to access resources, make
informed decisions, and actively participate in society.
One of the most significant benefits of reading lies in its role as a means of
knowledge acquisition. Reading exposes learners to a vast range of information, ideas,
and perspectives. Whether exploring science, history, literature, or current events,
learners gain insights into various subjects and expand their knowledge base. Reading
