Mr Bambuckle’s Remarkables

By Tim Harris (Penguin Random House, 2021)

Tim Harris has truly shown us his writing experience in this novel. Who
knew a book for 7-14 year old can be so interesting. So funny. So overall
amazing. It is set in classroom called 12B where 15 restless student cause
trouble. The genre is comedy and the book is about how a mysterious and
funny new teacher helps the class appeal and like each other more in a
hilarious fashion. This is the first book in a series that will surely be
hilariously entertaining. Read on for a sneak peak at this amazing book.

Mr Bambuckle is a middle aged man who is mysterious and very funny.

He travels to many countries and masters their culture. To the class, he like
a magician. Mysterious and has a good humour. Bambuckle answers all
the classes questions when they met him and he astounds them even more!
It is written in third person to show everything that is going on in the book
so it isn’t in one perspective.

The main character, Mr Bambuckle grows to admire the students. He

notices a subtle change in their personalities and bring them together. The
students each have their hopes and dreams and slowly get intent on sharing
these dreams. He changes throughout the book and admires the students
even more. He learns about the class and teaches them. But throughout the
book a villain emerges and makes his move at the end of the book. But
you’ll have to find out yourself! No spoilers!

Other comedy books are Big Nate, Wimpy Kid and the famous Funny Kid.
All 4 (including this book) share similarities but at the same time some
differences. They are similar but at the same time they are completely
different. You’ll find out what this means when you read the book.

Mr Bambuckles Remarkables truly is an extremely good book. It can read

by innocent 5 years old to surly teenagers. It brings out your funny side
and entertains you no matter how many times you read it. The children are
practically growing through the pages, mentally and physically. They
slowly grow to bond with each other and work with each other. Truly
superb.
