The first time I opened my eyes
I still couldn’t see it right
And I said hi with a loud cry
Both of you were radiant with smiles
And at the same time
It brought tears to your eyes
To your one and only sweetie pie

My darling
My dear child
You are the apple of my eye
You are my sunshine
The light of my life
Your small hand in my palm
Would always remain warm and small
Your first cry was like the first word you called me mom
Would always remain the best type of waterfall.

For once and all
Great or small
You were always there
And still you are here
With all your love and care
Make me always bold and have no fear
And making our first time, the moment of a lifetime.

As though I was the best gift

My first word became your best memory
Every moment was captured and treasured
Every second was cherished and remembered

“dda dda”
Your first word became our delight
And it made our days so bright
Until the moment we said nighty-night don’t let the bugs bite
We always hugged you tight

One afternoon in the mid of June

And I saw you brought home my very first spoon
Oh, it is for my first food?
“But mom, don’t you think it is too soon?”

”Don’t worry my dear darling”

“Trust me, everything is mouth-watering”
Apples, bananas, sweet potatoes,
Peas, peaches and avocados
Your first meal was our pure joy
Bon appetite, it was time to eat.

Ewww, the taste was funny

Oh, don’t worry honey
Oh, the second bite was right
Can you give me more please mommy?

One morning after bath

I saw you giggled mommy
And all the excitement filled me
Steadily on my two feet
Making my way towards you mommy

Oh, my dear baby

You might soon turn into a lady
The moment you took your tiny steps
Was greeted with cheers and claps
And here I was as happy as a clam
Knowing that you were now ready for a run
And to have some little fun.

Twelve months have flown

As if it was yesterday, you were brought home as a baby
And today I wished you happy birthday
Let’s invite your friends to come and play
Let’s have a party with some candies
And a bunch of cookies.

I turned one today

And everyone wished me happy birthday
Oh, Mommy and daddy
Let’s go to Disneyland as I wanted to see
Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy
Ariel, Elsa, Anna and Jasmine

I woke up early and dressed prettily like a fairy

My shoes were shiny
My uniform was tuck in
With my backpack that was green.
Oh, will I miss you mommy?

Don’t worry my angel

Don’t be afraid of strangers
Teachers are nice and wise
School is warm and full of surprise

Our first times could be your first times

Our first times might not be your first times.
The memories that we cherish
Will always make us strong
And correct us when we are wrong
