Serving Prince Georges County September 1, 2011

Welcome to DI 2011-2012
Welcome to the 2011-2012 DI season. We are ready to see the season get underway and are excited about all the changes taking place this year. Last year the state experienced some wonderful growth in the number of schools and teams participating. We would love to see the numbers continue to rise again this year. This season, PGCPS will be offering competitive team numbers at a discount. The cost will be $98 per team number. Please contact Wendy Simmons for more details to obtain your team number.

2011 - A Big Success!

Sixty teams from Prince Georges County participated in the 2011 Central Regional Tournament on March 5, 2011 at Charles Flowers HS. The Region sent 29 teams to the State Tournament at UMBC. At the State Tournament, 3 teams placed and went to Globals Tournament. Those 3 teams were Eleanor Roosevelt Juniors in Unidentified Moving Object, Bond Mill Bulldogs in Spinning a Tale and Kenmoor MS Flying Ostriches in Dynamic Networks.
