    This study used a mixed methods sequential explanatory design to examine the implications of parentification on the parental attachment of eldest adult daughters in Bataan. Quantitative data was first collected through questionnaires on parentification and parental attachment, followed by qualitative interviews. Statistical analysis was conducted on the questionnaires, while thematic analysis was used for the interviews. Results from both phases were then integrated using methodological triangulation.
