Acknowledgement
Sri Lanka institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE) provides six (6) month of
the training period for every full-time Higher National Diploma (HND) student at the end of
the academic period. I would also like to express my deepest sincere gratitude towards
Mrs.E.M.D.J.K. Ekanayake (Director), Mrs. T.C Bakmeedeniya, (Head of the Department,
HNDIT), Lecturer Mrs. Dilhani Wapathana and all lecturers, Academic, Non-Academic staff
members of Advanced Technological Institute - Kegalle and my classmates for the wonderful
support and guidance.
As an Industrial Training period, this was my first time that I got experience with real world
organizations, it helped me to understand the procedures and standards within Government
Organization. Therefore, I am extremely thankful to National Apprentice & Industrial Training
Authority (NAITA), who gave this opportunity to all the HNDIT students.
I would like to thank Mr.A.P.K.Abeyrathne (CEO & Founder), who supervised me in the
training period, who has been very supportive, lots of positive thoughts and guidance were
given by them. And also, special thanks for my four colleagues (team members) Achini Perera,
Nimasha Hansamali, Sashini Ashanthi and Gayan Dasanayaka.
I thank my friends, colleagues for their support and enthusiasm in participating on the job
Industrial Training, providing valuable, practical insight into the requirements and usability of
the works.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my parents and family for their Support
and encouragement for all my endeavours.

Preface
This report is documented based on the six months of Industrial Training that I have received
at Proxima Technologies (pvt) Ltd Kegalle. In the industry, my training period was 08th
October 2020 to 07th April 2021. This report is prepared according to the requirements and
conditions of NAITA.
There are three chapters in this report. Chapter 1 explains about training organization. The
activities performed, technologies used, the problems encountered and the solutions for above
particular problems have been included in the Chapter 2. Suggestions for my own and
organizational development, my gains and weaknesses were included to the Chapter 3 as a
conclusion. And finally references and abbreviations are included.
So, I have been obliged to thank the Advanced Technological institute and National Apprentice
and Industrial Training Authority.
