Dear Member,

Congratulations on becoming a part of Team Curtiss R/C!

Team Curtiss R/C is a student aero-modelling team from Vellore Institute of

Technology, Vellore under the fraternity of SAE (Society of Automotive engineers),
which is a worldwide society for automotive enthusiasts.

We design, simulate, build, and fly micro-class R/C planes. This links us with students
from all around the nation and helps in enhancing technical and team management
skills.

This project gives students the opportunity to learn several things from the industry
itself directly and the link between theoretical learning in classes and practical
application of the theories learnt, among other things. Moreover, such competitions
necessitate relentless efforts, hard work, efficient management of time and energy with
a strong conviction to stay committed.

This is to affirm that you have officially joined Team Curtiss R/C, keeping in
mind the following:

All financial transactions will be made transparent to each member of the team, and
they will have access to it when need be. Each member agrees to pay an amount of Rs.
25,000 (to be paid in instalments), to the team which will be used for buying team
equipment, registering for competitions, etc. The travel and accommodation expenses
will be borne by each member individually and is exclusive to the contribution of each
member to the team’s funds. The team will not be held responsible for any liable
actions of a member during his stay in college, and/or at the competition venue. The
team reserves the right to let go of any member who hinders the operations of the team
or slanders the public image of Team Curtiss R/C by his/her liable actions. If any
member decides to leave the team by his/her own will within 30 days (probation
period) then he/she does not have to pay anything. But if he/she leaves after probation
period then he/she has to pay the complete amount that was asked during recruitment
i.e Rs 25,000.Parents/Guardian of the team members are more than welcome to
approach the Team Captain/Vice- Captain/Team Management, in case of any queries
 regarding the financial structure.
