There was a woman who lived with her husband, but they had no children.

It made them very sad.

And once this woman realized that they would soon have a baby.
From the window of her house, a woman often looked at a wonderful garden nearby. What did
not grow there: juicy greenery, beautiful flowers. The mistress of this splendor was a very
powerful sorceress, so no one dared to penetrate the high fence that surrounded the garden.
Once, standing at the window, the wife noticed Rapunzel growing in the garden. It was so fresh
and green that the woman really wanted to eat it. Every day she wanted Rapunzel more and more,
and because of the inability to get his wife began to lose weight and turn pale. When asked by a
frightened husband what was happening to her, the poor thing replied that she would probably
die if she did not taste rapunzel from the sorceress's garden.
To save his beloved wife, the husband decided to steal. The first time he got away with it. But,
after eating Rapunzel salad, the wife began to desire it with even greater force. Upon re-entering
the garden, the husband was caught by the sorceress. After listening to his timid explanations, the
witch allowed Rapunzel to be recruited, but for this she demanded to give her a daughter, who
was soon to be born.
As soon as the child was born, the sorceress immediately appeared for him. The girl, whom the
sorceress named Rapunzel, was unusually beautiful. At the age of twelve, she was locked up by a
sorceress in a high tower. It was impossible to enter this tower, because there were no doors and
stairs in it. There was only a small window at the top. To get to Rapunzel, the sorceress asked her
to let down her wonderful hair, along which she climbed into the prisoner's room.
One day a prince passed by the tower. He heard a girl's singing, which captivated him. The king's
son began to come to this place often, listen to the singing and observe what was happening in the
tower. Seeing how the sorceress gets inside the tower, the prince was also able to get to Rapunzel.
At first, the girl was very frightened of the stranger, but quickly realized that he did not wish her
harm.
Young people fell in love with each other and began to meet often. But one day the witch found
out about it. She cut off Rapunzel's hair and drove her into the woods. The poor girl lived in great
need, and after a while she had twins - a daughter and a son.
When the prince came once again to his beloved, the sorceress in the hair of Rapunzel dragged
him into the window of the tower. After a quarrel with a young man, the old woman threw him
out the window. When falling into thorny bushes, the king's son went blind.
He wandered through the forest for more than one year, until he heard Rapunzel singing. He
immediately recognized the voice of his beloved and went to him. Seeing the person dear to her,
Rapunzel burst into tears of joy. The tears that fell on the prince's eyes immediately saved him
from blindness. The royal son, along with Rapunzel and the children, returned to his kingdom,
where they all lived a happy life.
