Cousins wanted to play snowball

Five years ago, when I was ten years old, my family and I went to the
village of Aparan, Buzhakan in the winter. We decided to gather with
our relatives and celebrate our great grandfather's birthday. Everything
was great until we decided to go out to play snowball and go for a walk.
There was no one with us and we walked away from the house and
reached a small valley in which a stream once flowed. At that time the
water was frozen and the eldest of my cousins wanted to slide on the
ice. Fortunately, he managed to do it, but in the next moment my little
cousin tripped and fell on the ice. At that same moment, the ice broke
and both of them found themselves in the cold water. They couldn't get
out, because the ice broke regularly and it was very difficult to get out
of the valley because of the snow.
My little cousin and I tried to help them with the help of branches, but
in vain.In the end, I managed to get out of the valley and told my
relatives about the accident. Some ran out without dressing and quickly
helped my cousins.
At home they got angry with us, but we still had been happy and sat
around the wood stove making jokes about what was going on and
roasting potatoes. From that day on, our parents went out with us to
play snowball.
