Dear MR. GONZALEZ:
Greetings!
I am Josephus Acuña Janea, a Public school teacher in the Philippines. I am interested in
applying as an English Language Arts/English Reading teacher, or possibly too as a Dual Language/Immersion (Portuguese or Spanish) teacher. I still am in the process of becoming certified to meet the appropriate Certification and Endorsement. At the recommendation of International Alliance Group* Recruitment Team (please find screen shots below), I am applying as an English teacher with an Emergency Certification. Attached is my resumé. As a tenured teacher I have been able to facilitate students' learning from different levels in junior and senior high school. All throughout these years I have become flexible in handling classes from different grade levels. Having taught differently abled learners mainstreamed in regular classrooms, I am also able to function as SPED teacher. I pray and hope that I will be given a slot for an interview, and soon be considered a qualified applicant to teach in the US. I would like to proactively mention that I had travelled to Brazil for about four (4) months and learned to speak Portuguese. I also play the guitar and sing at the same time.
Thank you so much for your kind attention.
Sincerely yours,
(Sgd.) JOSEPHUS A. JANEA
