Contract For Entertainment

This contract is made and entered into on April 13,2023, by and between
Jessica Perkins, Bainbridge Chamber (the "Purchaser"), and Dave Carson
(the "Performer"). provide entertainment
WHEREAS, the Purchaser is desirous of obtaining Performers to
for an event or special occasion; and or special
WHEREAS, the Performers desire to provide the entertainment for the event
occasion sponsored by the Purchaser.
NOW THEREFORE, the Purchaser., and Performer(s) agree as follows:

a) Performance Date: July 4
b)Access Time: 7-9am
c) Mandatory Set-up Time: by 9 am
d) Performance Time: 3-5pm
4. Special Provisions:
a) 215 amp circuits to the performance area

5. Contract Price: The contract price of the performance(s) shall be $1400 each performance.
The contract price shall be paid as follows. A deposit is due along with a signed contract to
confirm engagement. $ 1400 be paid by Cash or Check payable to the Dave Carson Soul Siren
upon arrival at the event or prior to the performance date. Performance times may not
exceed 4hrs in length for the original contract price. Additional performance time may be purchased as
needed.
6. Cancellation: The contract between the Purchaser and the Performer(s) may only be terminated if both
parties agree. The contract may not be terminated without 60 days notice to the Performer(s). If the
contract is terminated, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
7. Independent Contractor: Each of the following parties hereto is acting as an independent contractor
and nothing herein contained shall be construed as creating a partnership, joint venture, or other
relationship of the parties, including that of the employer and employee. The Performer shall be
responsible for the payment of any and all payroll or other taxes and charges applicable under, state and
local law.
