    TO: All Students & Teachers FROM: Admin

    SUBJECT: FINAL EVALUATION PROCEDURES DATE: June, 2023

    DATES & EVALUATION TIME


    ⮚ June 21 - June 26 at 9:00 a.m.

    LOCATION
    ⮚ All evaluations are written in their regular classroom unless indicated differently.

    STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BEING ON TIME AND IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

    ABSENCE FROM EVALUATIONS


    A student who misses an evaluation because of their own error will normally receive a zero. If a student is going to miss
    evaluations for reasons of illness, death in the family or any other legitimate reason (validated by a member of the admin
    team), parents must call the school before 9:00 a.m. the day of the evaluation.

    LATENESS
    A student who arrives after an evaluation has begun must report to the office for an admit slip. In the event of a late bus
    a P.A. announcement will be made to admit students to the evaluations.

    STUDENTS AT SCHOOL BUT NOT WRITING EVALUATIONS


    Students are not expected to be at school except when they have evaluations.
    Students may:
    ⮚ Use the Learning Commons for quiet study or the Cafe. Students will not be permitted in the halls.
    ⮚ Be outside the school. All doors to the school, except the front doors, will be locked.

    STUDENT EXPECTATIONS
    ⮚ Students must leave backpacks at the front of the evaluation room.
    ⮚ There is no talking in the evaluation room prior to and during written evaluations. If a student’s evaluation is
    removed for talking or cheating, the evaluation receives a mark of “zero”.
    ⮚ No student is to leave until dismissed by the teacher.
    ⮚ Students will follow teacher direction about cell phones (eg., off and on the teacher’s desk).

    LOCKER RESTRICTIONS
    ⮚ Students may access their lockers before 9:00 a.m. or after 12:00 p.m.
    ⮚ Lockers will not be available form 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. during exam days.
    ⮚ Students may go to the Cafe or the Learning Commons after leaving their exam.

    BUSES
    School buses run at the normal time on exam days.
