The importance of engaging in Sports or Physical activity to your future
profession

Organized, well-structured sports and on-going physical activities can provide many benefits for
people with their future profession. Physical exercise is good for the mind, body, and spirit. Team
sports help teach adolescents accountability, dedication, leadership, and other skills. Playing a sport
requires a lot of time and energy. Also, sports require memorization, repetition, and learning —
skillsets that are directly relevant to the future. Fighting for a common goal with a group of players
and coaches teaches you how to build teamwork and effectively communicate to solve problems.
This experience is helpful when encountering problems at work or at home. We can manage our
time well with the practice we get by being engaged in sports or physical activities.

Most of the people in our society believe that only traditional education adds values to our career.
Knowledge increases decision-making, which is valued for personal and professional life.
However, a balanced attitude to living can often include athletics and, as any athlete knows,
physical education is not just about dominance in games and controlling anger. The fact is sports
teaches us life lessons in a unique manner worthy of remembrance. It also provides functional and
social skills that will be quite beneficial both on and off the field.

• Management and responsibilities
• Handling pressure
• Competition & sportsmanship
• Commitment
etc.

There is nothing more that inspires us to teamwork and trust than viewing sports of any of our
choice. Though the players are very talented, still they need to trust the entire team to succeed.
Sports has unlimited benefits to the mind and to the body and it also can teach us life lessons.

The main purpose of a sports development career is to encourage participation in sport. Without
sportspersons, many people would never get the chance or the inspiration to get up, get out of the
house and get involved with sporting activity.

The importance of engaging in Sports or Physical activity in your lifetime

Physical activity or exercise can improve your health and reduce the risk of developing several
diseases like type 2 diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular disease. Physical activity and exercise can
have immediate and long-term health benefits. Most importantly, regular activity can improve your
quality of life.

If you are regularly physically active, you may:


• reduce your risk of a heart attack
• manage your weight better
• have a lower blood cholesterol level
• lower the risk of type 2 diabetes and some cancers
• have lower blood pressure
• have stronger bones, muscles and joints and lower risk of developing osteoporosis
• lower your risk of falls
• recover better from periods of hospitalization or bed rest
• feel better – with more energy, a better mood, feel more relaxed and sleep
better.

Physical activities and exercise can control and reduce our day today lime mentally problems and
depression conditions. A number of studies have found that exercise helps depression. There are
many views as to how exercise helps people with depression,
o Exercise may block negative thoughts or distract you from daily worries.
o Exercising with others provides an opportunity for increased social contact.
o Increased fitness may lift your mood and improve your sleep patterns.
o Exercise may also change levels of chemicals in your brain, such as serotonin, endorphins
and stress hormones.

As we do sport our bones, muscles and joints get strong. So, we can prevent from getting injuries
often. Also, we get lower risk of falls. Even we fall we get less damage as we have strong bones,
muscles, and joints. We can prevent from getting tissue injuries from falling or stretching by getting
engaged in sport or physical activity. We can recover soon when we get sick if we have good
fitness. So that doing sport or physical activity help us to stay healthy. We can control our weight
also by doing sport or physical activity. So, we can have a good BMI value. Having a good BMI
value affects our lifetime in a good manner.

What are the subject areas that you can attach to Sports Knowledge in your
field?

Civil engineering knowledge is very important one for sport field because civil engineering
principles, practical knowledge, civil engineers design skills are very important to construct play
grounds, pavilions, playing courts and etc.

Level ground is the special requirement for cricket playground, athletic playground and volleyball,
badminton court etc. but in the real world we difficult to find 100% level ground. In that case we
can level ground by using civil engineering levelling equipment and civil engineering leveling
methods.

As well as that sometimes have challenges construct grounds, pavilions and other sport building in
wetlands. In that case can be used civil engineering water resource management skill and
knowledge for solve

exterior finish and good aesthetic quality is very important for every sport building. examples are
designing pavilion, designing players rest room, designing commenters room etc. in that case civil
engineers and civil technicians and civil structural engineers’ knowledge is very essential.

Some sports constructions require good strength materials. as well as that sometimes want to check
materials used for construction before the work. civil engineers have good knowledge about these
materials and their engineering qualities. therefore, civil engineers can tribute their skills for
construct good and safety sport area.

Accordingly, the civil engineering field can do a lot of construction work for the development of
the sport. However, the new technology can create sports fields and badminton volleyball courts.
Accordingly, the civil engineering sector has a great potential to develop the sport by incorporating
the various constructions required by the sport in a safe and up-to-date manner.
