Subject: New AIP SUP – “Airport Slot ID”

Dear Sir or Madam,

As part of the implementation of Single European Sky and in accordance with

EU-Regulation 95/93 (Slot-regulation) and EU-regulation 255/2010 it is planned to
process flight plan consistency checks on a European basis.

In preparation for this an “Airport Slot ID” has to be stated by the aircraft operator
in field 18 of the ATC flight plan.

As of February 26th, 2012, an “Airport Slot ID” will be stated on all confirmations of
requested slots in the IATA GCR-message by the airport slot coordinator.

“Airport Slot ID” structure:

The “Airport Slot ID” is composed of 14 alphanumeric characters.
- 1-4: ICAO airport code
- 5: “A”...Arrival, “D”...Departure
- 6-14: Flight number given from Airport coordinator, padded with leading and trailing zeros
