INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION WORKS

1. Do not wear any jewelry such as rings, chains, necklaces, etc. while working. Avoid loose or
unbuttoned clothing and do not wear neckties.
2. All workers involved in plumbing installations must wear helmets, and safety belts should be
used when working at heights and near void areas.
3. For work carried out at heights during plumbing installations, use working platforms with
appropriate size, a minimum working area width of 80 cm, at least 2 wheels with a braking
system, a height of 100 cm with a handrail, and an intermediate handrail at 47 cm.
4. During the placement of clean and wastewater pipes in plumbing works, avoid unnecessary
demolition of walls and floorings. In cases where demolition is necessary, take necessary
precautions (such as goggles, dust masks, wet work, helmets, etc.) to prevent falling debris,
splashing particles, or exposure to dust.
5. After passing the plumbing pipes through shaft openings, the protective barriers that have
been lifted should be partially cut and put back in place to cover the side of the flooring. The
head of the team responsible for removing the barriers is personally accountable if this task
is not performed.
6. Use a mask during pipe welding and welding operations, and never inhale plastic or welding
fumes.
7. Do not leave electric hand tools in a working condition, and do not place them on pathways.
8. Exercise extreme caution when carrying or using long pipes near overhead power lines,
considering that high voltage can jump without direct contact. Avoid approaching voltages
above 34,000 volts within 2 meters and request appropriate measures if necessary.
9. Ensure sufficient lighting and proper ventilation in the working environment.
10. Check if the surface you are stepping on is slippery or not.
11. When working in noisy environments, use earplugs, and when using grinders, wear
protective goggles. Do not attempt to catch dropped grinding tools continuously; instead,
switch off the device by unplugging it. Unused hand tools should be unplugged.
12. To prevent injuries from piercing, cutting, or puncturing tools, especially during assembly
work, use assembly gloves. Wear vibration-absorbing gloves when working with vibrating
hammering tools.
13. Use long-cuffed leather gloves, leather aprons, and welder masks when welding.
14. Avoid wearing clothing made of easily flammable synthetic fabrics.

15. Select and use the most suitable personal protective equipment for the task at hand and
ensure that your coworkers also use their protective gear.
16. Do not use faulty tools and equipment and use hand tools for their intended purposes.
17. Before starting any repairs in the plumbing system, ensure that valves are closed and there
is no pressurized air, natural gas, LPG gas, steam, etc. remaining in the system. Even if the
valves are closed, properly release and reduce any trapped pressure.
18. Prevent contact between draining water from the plumbing system and electrical sources.
19. Do not start work without receiving end-of-shift information from the previous shift. Do not
carry piercing and cutting tools in your pocket while working.
20. Ensure that the portable ladders you use are non-slip, sturdy, and clean. Pay attention to the
safe installation direction and method of portable step ladders and ensure that the gap from
the wall does not exceed one-quarter of the ladder's length. Avoid using portable ladders
near void areas and use scaffold-type platforms with handrails instead.
