No.G3/37/2020/RRC/1207/01/E:~ In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Superintending Engineer (Civil) Class I, in the Gujarat Engineering Service, Recruitment Rules, 2012, namely:~ 1. These rules may be called the Superintending Engineer (Civil) Class I, in the Gujarat Engineering Service, Recruitment (Second Amendment) Rules, 2020. 2, In the Superintending Engineer (Civil) Class I, in the Gujarat Engineering Service, Recruitment Rules, 2012, in rule 2, (i) _ for the words, “by promotion of a person on the basis of very good bench mark for being considered fit for promotion as laid down in the”, the words, “by promotion of a person who possess 'very good’ benchmark for being considered fit for promotion within the zone of consideration as laid down in the” shall be substituted. (ii) inclause (iii), for the words “possess a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering”, the words, “possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil)/Technology (Civil)” shall be substituted.
