    HARSH REVERSE ENGAGEMENT

    COMPLAINT: Before and/or after rebuild, the vehicle may exhibit a harsh Reverse Engagement.

    CAUSE: The cause may be a missing B1 checkball from the valve body. A missing B1 checkball
    will allow Reverse Clutch oil to flow un-orificed into the Reverse Clutch, causing the
    engagement to be harsh.

    CORRECTION: To correct this condition, install a 5/16 - .313 inches checkball at the B1 location. See
    Figure 1.
