I, Benjamin Sumuni, 26 years old. I have graduated a bachelor of science in Forestry from Sokoine
University of Agriculture (SUA) -Morogoro on 2021.
I am writing to apply for the vacancy which was advertised on your website on 13th June 2023 with
REF.ACT. 18/88/01A/49, to be Forest officer II and showing my competence and skills that I
have acquired in my carrier of conservation and sustainable forest production and utilization. I am
honest, self-motivated person to work under minimum pressure with integrity, attentive to detail
and team player.
I have been involved in forest inventory which enable preparation of forest management plan,
forest plantation establishment, nursery work, planting, weeding and control of forest fires. I have
gained this experience through volunteering as forest officer from October 2021 up to date at Mbizi
Forest Plantation located in Sumbawanga municipal - Rukwa region.
Also, I have been involved in solving several forest problems and maintaining forest plantation
records. Finally, I have basic computer skills in Microsoft word, excel, power point, internet access
and e-mail.
