1. The Konica C35's CdS meter, heart of the
automatic exposuresystem,operateson a mercury
batterycell. As a quick check on battery condition,
look through the cameraviewfinderto see that
the meter needle swingsas you movethe camera
i n a n a r c f r o m t h e s k y t o t h e g r o u n d .l f t h e n e e d l e
does not move or if its action seemssluggish
replacethe batterywith a new one.
