ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

I. Program Title: BOTEfication

Beautifying the School Grounds by Recycling Plastic
Bottles

The BOTEfication project was initiated on March 6, 2023, with

the students of Laguilayan National High School as the primary

participants. The project involved collecting plastic bottles to create

tulip flowers, with each student tasked to produce 10 tulips, resulting

in a total of 10,000 painted tulips installed in various areas of the

school, adding beauty to the gardens and visible spots of the

institution. The project's success demonstrates the importance of

environmental sustainability and the significant impact of small

actions towards creating a more sustainable future.

The school's biggest concern is working with others to

accomplish designed tasks and objectives. This requires dedicated

school personnel, cooperative parents, a supportive community, and

innovative learners. The school is an institution responsible for

molding the youth to become good members of society, with learners

crafted into better people who will be an example of the kind of

learning center where they were raised.

The BOTEfication project has resulted in various positive

impacts on the school environment, such as reducing waste and

combating adverse environmental impacts like air and water litter. It

has also contributed to creating a more sustainable future by

increasing the percentage of recyclables collected, conserving

resources, and saving energy. In addition, the project has made the

school environment more sustainable and eco-friendlier, raising

awareness of environmental protection and encouraging viable

practices. The cost savings generated from the project can be

allocated to other areas such as education and extracurricular

activities, benefiting the entire school community.
