LEARNING AND Teacher describes the characteristics of quadratic expressions in one variable.
FACILITATION (PdPC) Pupils are asked to identify which are the quadratic expression in one variable.
Pupils are asked to determine the value of a, b and c based on the quadratic expression
given.
Teacher explains and shows that the quadratic function is a many-to-one relationship.
Pupils are asked to identify the shape of the graph, minimum or maximum point,
y-intercept and axis of symmetry equation from the quadratic functions.
Pupils investigate and make generalisation about the effect of changing the values of 𝑎, 𝑏
and 𝑐 on graphs of quadratic functions using GeoGebra.
Pupils do the exercises from the textbook.
