RESPONSIBILITIES 3.1, SENIOR MANAGERS, Senior management personnel are responsible to take a lead in formulating an effective control measures, adsing and directing to provide resources to implement and maintain safe ‘traffic arrangements and monitoring system in GSW worksite ‘They are also responsible to gle proper advises, instructions for the effectiveness ofits implementation and compliances, 3.2. PROJECT MANAGER / CONSTRUCTION MANAGER Project Manager/Construction Manager has overall responsibilty for the implementation of this procedure in their respective work site 3.21 Support and faiitate necessary instructions and advises to educate the men working Under them to understand the importance of Trai Safety and the risk involve. 3.22 Promote Safe Vehicle driving practices, equipment operation and use of designated pedestrian way by the employees. 3.23 Provide adequate resources and support to HSE department to implement this plan effectively 3.3, HSE MANAGER HSE Manager Is responsible to implement an effective traffic management plan and monitor the compliance of procedure Ina systematic way. 33. Plan and arrange safe traffic and defensive driving trainings and ensure itis ‘conducted, 3.3.2. Arrange required traffic safety sgn board and ensure it i poste in GSW site 33.3. Carryout periodic inspections to ensure compliance of traffic safety requirements 334, Enforce disciplinary actions against the traffic violators and issue safety administrative instructions time to time as required 1235. Physical inspections ofall vehicles and other mobile equipment are conducted and ensure they maintain road worthy condition, 3.36, Assign personnel for trafic control when require. 3.37. Assist HSE Manager/Project Manager in conducting inspections of vehicles and ‘mobile equipment when required. 235. SITE SUPERVISOR 3.5. Support HSE Personnel and ensure all employees under him are aware of the ste traffic rules and follow. 35.2, Discuss site traffic ules and procedures during the toolbox meting. 35.3. _ Report all trafic violations Immediately to HSE Manager or his designe, 3.6. DRIVERS. 3.64. Responsible to rive /operste asigned vehicle and equipmentin a safe manner. 3.6.2. Conduct dally prestatinspection of the vehicle/equipment andreport for periodical services and maintenance, 3.63. Loads must be secured with belts or chain and not allowed to takeover size material without road permit 3.6.8. When required to carryover site load, ensure a flag man is avalable to guide 3.69.
