General Instructions and Conditions:

01. The rate or rates quoted should be inserted in inh, in words and figures. All material alterations
should be authenticated by Full signature of the tender before the document is uploaded to the
website.

02. A full description of the Items with detailed specifications should be given in your tender. You
must clearly specify the Brand Name and Country of Origin.

03. Tenderers should heep their offer open for a period of 6 months from the date of closing the
tender and your price should be firm thereafter if accepted.

04. No additional payments would be considered by the Banh towards the fluctuation of currency
rates, or customs duty etc., levied by the Government of Sri Lanha after the order is accepted and
achnowiedged.

All goods shall be delivered within the time specified. Failure to do so would.

I. Mahe the order automatically liable for cancellation, or

II. Charge a penalty at the rate of 1% of the total cost per weeh on prorate for days and the total
number of weehs delayed in case of non delivery, by date stipulated overleaf of the order.

05. The samples should be submitted to the People's Banh Supplies Department 30/101 Kew road
Colombo 02 on or before stipulated tender closing date and time. Failure to submit samples
within the stipulated date and time, your offer liable to be rejected.

06.The goods should be supplied according to the approved sample.

07. The Banh reserves to itself the right without question to reject any or all tenders and the right to
accept any portion of a tender without assigning reasons and the Banh will not entertain
correspondence from Suppliers for acceptance or non-acceptance of offers.

08. Please quote Price per Unit and Total Cost without taxes.

09. Indicate the Net Value of the offer separately and the amount of VAT claimed along with the
VAT registration number(If you are not registered for the VAT,you should Forward the exemption
letter issued by the Inland Revenue)in the Bid/ Quotation.

10. Conditional offers will not be accepted.

11. Bids uploaded will be opened soon after the time of closing of bidding. The uploaded Price
schedules and Final Bid Document summary sheets of each quoted bidder will be visible to all
other quoted bidders after the bid opening.

12. Please also attach copies of the catalog along with your quotation.

13. Bidders are strictly advised not to upload any other details in above sections.

14. The Banh resen/es itself the right without question to reject any or all tenders and the right to
accept any tender or portion of a tender or buy a lesser at its option. Without assigning reasons
and the Banh will not entertain correspondence from suppliers for acceptance or non acceptance
of offers.
