Activity 3: Research Video on the Food Safety Act of 2013

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Research on the Republic Act No. 10611 otherwise known as the “Food Safety Act of 2013”. Create a video of
not less than three (3) minutes and does not exceed ten (10) minutes. Video should contain the following:
 Clear depiction of the violation of the Act (e.g. improper handling of food)
 Consequences as a result of the violation of the Act (e.g. penalties, illnesses)
2. You may use the following dates for video recording/editing:
 September 07, 2018 (Friday)
 September 10, 2018 (Monday)
3. Video submission and presentation on, September 12, 2018 (Wednesday).
 Save a soft copy of the video on a flash drive. Ensure that video is saved in more than one flash in the
event of file corruption.
 Submit a written script to instructor (encoded/short bond paper)
4. No video submitted on the above mentioned date equates to no grade for the said activity.

GRADING CRITERIA
Concept Video has a clear picture of what they are 20 points
trying to achieve
Script/Storyboard Script is in logical sequence and provides 10 points
complete dialogue or notes on the scenes
Content/Organization The content is well researched and is 30 points
creative, compelling and well-written.
Includes properly cited sources at end
credits.
Video Quality Video was complete with all required 30 points
elements. The video was well-edited and
moves smoothly from scene to scene with
proper use of transitions. Audio and other
enhancements were used
Peer Evaluation (Individual) Assessment of each members cooperation 10 points
in completing the video
