Having insufficient time to do physical exercise in urban areas is quite a

common problem . This issue is driven by several factors, and some

viable solutions can be implemented to allieviate it.
Finding it difficult to get enough physical exercise among urban
residents is attributed to various causes. First, in order to cover high cost
of living, the citizens have to work with hectic schedules. As a
consequence, they spend most of their time working hard instead of
going out and taking some exercise, which is conducive to the severe
lack of time for improving physical health. Second, there has been a
dramatic rise in the number of sedentary leisure activities. In fact, most
youngsters nowadays engage in screen time activities such as watching
TV or playing games in long terms rather than participating outdoor
activities, which leads to the risk of suffering various health problems
such as headache and eyesore.
Be that as this may, this situation can be remedied provided that some
reasonable measures must be carried out. To begin with, it is imperative
to raise people’s awareness of the importance of doing regular exercise.
For example, if people spend more time doing exercise or participating
in more active activities, they will reduce the risk of suffering heart
diseases or even stroke, which are extremely dangerous to our health.
Another feasible solution is that more outdoor fitness equipments should
be installed in parks and other public areas immediate for local residents.
As a result, there will be a significant increase in the number of local
residents using sport equipment, which acts as a precursor to a better
public health, cutting down the burden on health care service.
In conclusion, the citizens’ lack of time doing physical exercise may
result from various underlying factors, and some proposed solutions can
be excuted to hopefully tackle it to some extent.
