*Student will use color thoughtfully with knowledge of advanced color schemes.
*Student will design composition to engage and move viewer through the piece according to
intention and planning
*Student will use the above two mentioned skills to achieve contextualized ideas
*Student will create an artwork which responds artists and context which they have defined

• Color use control perception by emphasizing areas/content you want the
viewer to notice
*Student will establish the context by researching related artists/ideas from two time periods and
across two different cultures in order to establish historical and contemporary context for ideas
and one literary work from IB English or Turkish.
