On the basis of deliberations conducted hitherto, today, Thursday, 8th June 2023 located at
Semarang, the signature below declare their mutual intention to conduct collaboration:

agreed to enter into cooperation based on the principle of partnership and mutual benefit to

academic collaborations, research collaboration, community services collaboration and any
other possibility areas of cooperation..

The implementation of this agreement will be further elaborated in a more detailed and
operational collaboration document at the faculty or institution level or other unit within FIRST
PARTY and SECOND PARTY.

This Memorandum of Understanding shall be valid for a period of five years from the date of
its signature and may be extended, amended or terminated by mutual agreement between
FIRST PARTY and THE SECOND PARTY.

1. Preamble
Faculty of Engineering of Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang, Indonesia and
Arabic Research ID (ID) agree to become parties to this Memorandum, the purpose of
which is to encourage collaboration between both institutions. This also desires to
enhance international cooperation for the advancement of research and teaching as well
as to promote cultural understanding of their respective countries.

2. Scope

Within each of the university’s framework of regulations, and subject to the availability
of resources, the institutions will explore the possibility of establishing a partnership
which may include any of the following educational activities:

• Exchange of academic materials and information

• Joint research activities, workshops, seminar, and other academics activity
which
is relevant to the faculty path.
3. Duration
The memorandum becomes effective from the date of the last signature and remains in
force for a period of five (5) years. Either University may terminate this memorandum
by giving six months’ written notice to the other party. It may be extended by mutual
consent of the two universities, or amended by the exchange of letters.
