STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

General This study aims to determine how heat affects grade 10 students and identifying the

b. Ability to concentrate and focus on your studies.
c. Challenges posed by intense heat in relation to your schoolwork.
4. What are the effects of intense heat to physically and psychological, in terms of
the following:
a. Physical discomfort
b. Negative effects on your mental well-being or mood.
c. Motivated and engaged in your academic activities.

Null According to our survey, students in grade 10 at Gumaca National High School do
Hypothesis worse academically when it is really hot outside. It shows that studying in a room that
is either too hot or too cold can reduce our ability to soak up information.

Scope and We conducted this research in Gumaca National High School with the students of a
Delimitation Grade 10 curriculum. We wanted to identify if dealing with an intense heat can affect
the students their academic performances. But basing on the answer of our
respondents, they get more and more distracted and can't concentrate because of
heat which leads them having a headache, dehydration, and any symptoms related
to it. On the other hand, bringing a water and portable mini fan or any fan may
reduce the heat felt by any students. This study focuses specifically on grade 10
students, as they are at a critical stage in their education and are preparing for
important examinations.
