Task 1

 Write down how does UNCITRAL works and their Responsibilities.

 Write at least two (2) real life examples for all the nine (9) Model of
Electronic Commerce

Ans:

a) The official function of UNCITRAL is to modernize and harmonize the


rules of international business. The organization is responsible for
helping to facilitate international trade and investment. UNCITRAL
seeks to help expand and facilitate global trade through the progressive
harmonization and modernization of the law of international trade.

b) Real life examples for 9 models of E-Commerce:

1- B2B: For example, Company A wants to establish a train station, and in


order to start this project, the required resources must be available, so
Company A resorts to Company B, which provides the required resources

2- B2B: Many vehicle components are manufactured independently, and auto


manufacturers purchase these parts to assemble automobiles. Tires,
batteries, electronics, hoses and door locks, for example, are usually
manufactured by various companies and sold directly to automobile
manufacturers.

3- B2C: Amazon displays and sells its products via the Internet, such as
clothes, shoes, etc., and then the customer buys them via the Internet.

4- B2C: Netflix provides streaming service for movies and series.

5- C2B: A programmer designed a program that solves a specific problem in


society. Suddenly a company wants to buy this app from the designer.

6- C2B: An individual with a well-known account on one of the social media


platforms receives an advertisement for a specific company in his accounts.
7- C2C: Individual seller offering his product Microwave on Alibaba. And the
buyer is another consumer.

8- G2G: America buys oil from Saudi Arabia.

9- G2G: Saudi Arabia buys Weapons and military equipment from America.

10- G2B: The government provides business licenses, permits, and regulations
updates

11- B2G: Government schools buy from companies that sell educational goods
such as tables, blackboards, chairs, books, and so on.

12- G2C: The government provides services to citizens as a result of their


payment of taxes.

13- C2G: Web designer designed a government website and presented it to the
government. The government bought it from him.
