Best lifestyle for

best immunity

Introduction

Have you been told that making time for those little things

such as sleep, nutrition, exercise, and stress management,

for example, can all affect more than one aspect of your

life?
Having all of these aspects balanced will help you achieve a

healthy lifestyle

Food

Nutrition plays a huge role in how our immune

system functions. Shifting your eating

patterns away from processed and animal

foods toward more whole, plant-based options

is one powerful step you can take to give your
body the tools it needs to fight off viruses

Stress

When we’re stressed, the immune system’s

ability to fight off antigens is reduced. The
stress hormone corticosteroid can suppress
the effectiveness of the immune system e.g.
lowers the number of lymphocytes).

Exercise

Exercise increases blood and lymph flow when your

muscles contract, causing immune cells to travel the

body at a faster rate and in greater numbers. exercise

aids in the recruitment of highly specialized immune cells

such as natural killer cells and T cells. This allows your

body to better prepare for an infection in the future

by identifying it early .

Sleep

Getting enough high-quality sleep is just as important

as the previous factors your body releases
cytokines, which are essential for the regulation of
the immune system. The level of cytokines increase
during sleep, and therefore lack of sleep hinders the
body's ability to fight infections.
