Arakan, Cotabato

In view of the thrust of the Local Government Unit of Arakan to become a

business friendly municipality and to improve its economy through the establishment
of new enterprises that are in accordance to the approved Comprehensive Land Use
Plan (CLUP) , you are hereby designated as Local Economic Development Investment
Promotion Officer (LEDIPO) in addition to your usual functions effective March 30,
2017 until revoked by the undersigned.

As such, you have to perform the following:

• Assist businessmen interested to establish business undertaking in the

Municipality;
• Assist in the promotion and establishment of Micro, Small, Medium
En terprise (MSMEs) ;
• Assist in the promotion of Local Investment Lncentive Code of Arakan;
• Facilitate Local business forum and business promotion activities;
• Attend Trade Expo and other trade mission upon approval of the Mayor;
• Facilitate establishment of one-stop-shop every year during the renewal of
business permits and licenses ;
• Perform such other functions as deemed necessary and upon directive of the
Local Chief Executive.
