To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Jessica Garcia and I am an educator at Franklin Elementary. I have worked in

various districts, which has allowed me to work with a number of educators and
paraprofessionals. I am writing this letter on behalf of Maria Salazar. Maria was my children’s
daycare provider from 2013 to 2023. As a caregiver, Maria did a fantastic job to say the least.
Not only did she do an amazing job caring for my children while I was away but she also helped
me in preparing them academically, socially, and emotionally during those very important year
of their lives.

Maria did a fabulous job. Through her services, she ensured that my daughters always had their
needs met and were comfortable at daycare. She was very enthusiastic about helping, which
engaged my daughters and made them excited about coming to daycare to play and learn. When
in doubt, she would ask questions in order to better assist my daughters and was always willing
to learn how to better support them. All my daughters stopped using diapers when they were 18
months old with a rather strict protocol and Maria did not hesitate to help me continue protocol
at daycare. She always maintained high expectations for my daughters, and all of her children, in
a positive manner. Her organizational skills also helped in many activities and events that were
put together at daycare. Some of the events and activities my daughters got to experience
because of Maria, were: visiting the pumpkin patch during the fall, theater arts performances for
Christmas and end of the year, Dia de los Muertos celebrations, and many more.

Maria has made an impact in my family's life that will never be forgotten. She was devoted to
us, showed patience and was always willing to learn and grow. Maria was always very attentive
of what needed to be done and what else she could do to assist. Maria is a very versatile worker
with a growth mindset. I highly recommend her to any family that is looking for more than
