GETTING STARTED – Case A & B
Case A:

If you already have an account in CLMS, the one we used with the book EMPOWER, please
follow the next steps:

1. Go to: https://www.cambridgeone.org/home

2. Click on LOG IN

USERNAME: The same CLMS user. If you forgot it, type the e-mail with which you registered
the account.
PASSWORD: The same CLMS password. If you forgot it, you have the option to reset the
password and get access.
Case B:

If you don’t have an account yet, please follow the next steps to create one:

1. Go to: https://www.cambridgeone.org/home

2. Click on SIGN UP

3. Choose your ROLE as a LEARNER

COUNTRY: ECUADOR-where ESPOL is located.

AGE: 18+
4. Fill in your INFORMATIVE DATA

FIRST NAME: Both first name & middle name.

LAST NAME: Both last names.
E-MAIL: ESPOL e-mail address.
PASSWORD: It must contain at least 8 characters and 2 of the following: an uppercase
letter, a lowercase letter, a number or a special symbol, e.g. '*' or '+'.
ACCEPT the Privacy notice and Terms of use.

5. Verify your EMAIL within 24 hours.

ACTIVATING YOUR BOOK

1. Once you are in, choose 'START LEARNING'

2. Enter your 16-digit ACTIVATION CODE which is found inside the front
cover of your book.

Please check that you are reading and entering the code correctly without adding any
additional spaces and be sure that you haven’t previously activated the code with a
different account.
3. A message about the PRODUCT YOU HAVE ACTIVATED appears on screen.
JOINING A CLASS

1. Once you’ve signed up and activated your learning materials with

your activation code, choose 'I’M LEARNING WITH A CLASS'

2. Enter the CLASS KEY provided by your teacher

Note that class keys are made up of letters and numbers and are case sensitive (can include
upper and lower case letters).

You can also join a class later at any time by using the '+Class' button on
your dashboard after you've logged in.
