Day 1 (September 21, 2022)

Speaker: Atty. Domingo B. Alidon – National President – DepEd –NEU

 Atty Domingo B. Alidon, the National President, discusses the history of the
DepEd, the union, as well as its major accomplishments.
 Raising the resolution for the reclassification of non-teaching personnel were
also discussed.
 He also discussed the resolution to advise the current DepEd Secretary and
Vice President Sara Z. Duterte to transact to the LBP for the increased salary
grade rates of the non-teaching employees.
 Resolution to the Department of Budget and Management for the
reclassification of plantilla positions and salary grades of cashier 1 and
cashier 2.
 Resolution for the Department of Budget and Management for the
reclassification of plantilla positions and salary grades of guidance
counselors.
 The Collective Negotiation Agreement fund should be from the GAA and not
from the savings.
 He also tackled several important topics such as the hazard pay for the non-
teaching employees, one step upon retirement, party list that will represent
the non-teaching employees, scholarship grants for post-graduate studies of
non-teaching employees, separation from the GSIS, financial assistance for
the members found positive with CoViD-19, terminal cases, and death
assistance.

Day 2 (September 22, 2022)

Speaker (Morning Session): Marilyn Madraso, DP
Chief Education Supervisor – Region XI

 The day started with the recap of the previous day topics discussed.
 The speaker discusses the strategic directions that covers all forms of
education, which has several phases, namely, Phase 1 (2022-2025), and
Phase 2 (2026-2030)
 Issues and concerns regarding mental health were also discussed, including
personal-related stress and health-related stress.
Speaker (Afternoon Session): Analiza C. Almazan
Education Program Supervisor – Region XI
The speaker discusses the disaster preparedness concerns and the Last Mile
School (LMS) Program. She also discussed the following topics:

 Learning delivery in the new normal and learning resources in the new
normal
 Basic education learning continuity plan
 Early language, literacy, and numeracy
 We also conducted election of officers for Region XII.

Day 3 (September 23, 2022)

Speaker: Atty. Domingo B. Alidon – National President – DepEd –NEU

 The day 3 started with the recap of the previous day’s topics.
 He discussed the flexible work arrangement and the health and wellness of
employees.
 The DepEd CNA 2508 was issued on September 15, 2022.
