Special time for Forgiveness, Hope, Peace

Christmas Party (December) and Love when Jesus is Born. This is the
best moment to feel the sense of joy and
happiness, creating a cheerful atmosphere
that is contagious among students. It is a
time to embrace the spirit of giving,
receiving, and connecting with loved ones.
Students can take part in activities like gift
exchanges, decorating their classrooms, and
engaging in fun games, which all contribute
to the overall sense of joy.

Recreation and boosting students’ interest

Children’s Cosplay (December) in engaging in school activities.

Women’s Month Celebration (March) One way of educating students about the
importance and value of women. Women
empowerment’s main goal is to ensure that
women have equal rights, opportunities, and
access to resources in all areas of life.
Writing My Reflection

How did I feel?

Before the activity

I was so excited to be part and to witness the activities, I missed so much being an
elementary student and I was also able to differentiate how they did the activities and how
it was done before during our time. I was eager to exert my simple effort to make these
events memorable to my students.

After the activity

The feeling is fulfilling, seeing my students very happy to the success of the activities.
These jollifications open doors for festive atmosphere, engaging activities, inclusive
environment and memorable memories to all students, teachers, school staffs and even to
us, student interns.

I learned that:

It is anticipated that students will learn something new when planning an activity
for class. Since not everyone has the opportunity to be focused on, I came to the realization
that many students require my assistance. Some students perform poorly in school because
they don't follow through on their lessons. It causes discrimination and low self-esteem in
one classroom. No pupil should be left behind, in my opinion, because every learner has
the right to advance personally.

My Learning Task 6 Takeaways

The school requires it to commemorate events and initiatives as a component of

understanding one's identity. Because they are conducted in a traditional manner, the
programs and activities reflect who we are as Filipinos. The Department of Education's
many divisions, on the other hand, wish to stress a few activities to make sure that their
goals and objectives for the students are carried out. It is more than just a program or an
activity because those will aid the learners in learning more and applying that information
throughout the activity. We are reminded of our obligations as students and educators as
part of the DepEd calendar.

Performance Task 3

I. Word for Word Enhancement Program

II. The tool will aid students in fully comprehending words that have been
translated from English to Filipino as a result of the pandemic, which has
affected students' ability to study as a result of their increased exposure to
technology without social interaction with others around them.
III. Students will be able to:

Identify the exact translated words from English to Filipino

Apply the translated words in a sentence.
IV. The word-for-word program is made to assist students in translating what
they already know about English to Filipino and what they still need to learn.
Because they are more literate in English, Filipino is a topic in which students
struggle. To stop them from moving on to the next level in primary school, the
issue needs to be solved. It may be improved to make their learning simpler, no
matter how young they were.

Skills among Learners

How do these programs impact student learning?

Programs are playing a vital role in students’ learning such as;

1. Enriched Learning Experiences, Programs can provide students with
opportunities for hands-on learning and practical application of knowledge.
They often incorporate activities, projects, or field experiences that go beyond
the traditional classroom setting. This type of experiential learning can
enhance understanding, critical thinking skills, and retention of information.

2. Holistic Development, Well-designed programs consider the holistic

development of students, focusing not only on academic growth but also on
social, emotional, and physical development. They may include workshops or
activities that promote teamwork, leadership skills, self-confidence, and
personal growth. Such programs contribute to a well-rounded education and
support students in becoming well-rounded individuals.

3. Motivation and Engagement, Programs that align with students' interests and
passions can increase their motivation and engagement in learning. By
providing opportunities to explore specific subjects or areas of interest,
students are more likely to be actively involved and invested in their
education. This can lead to deeper learning, greater retention of information,
and a lifelong love for learning.
4. Real-World Relevance: Programs that connect classroom learning to
real-world applications can have a significant impact on student understanding
and motivation. By demonstrating how academic concepts and skills relate to
practical situations, students can see the relevance and value of what they are
learning. This can enhance their understanding, problem-solving abilities, and
preparation for future careers.

5. Diverse Perspectives and Inclusion: Programs that incorporate diverse

perspectives and promote inclusion can foster a more inclusive and tolerant
learning environment. By exposing students to different cultures, experiences,
and viewpoints, these programs help develop empathy, appreciation for
diversity, and critical thinking skills. Students learn to value and respect the
contributions of others, preparing them for a diverse and interconnected world.

It's important to note that the impact of programs on student learning can vary
depending on factors such as program design, implementation, student
engagement, and teacher facilitation.
