NOTE: For detailed instrument panel removal and pointers will move to the zero position on the
installation procedures refer BF Falcon Workshop gauge.
Manual, Section 501-12. 3. Ensure all interlocking fingers are aligned and
Removal rotate the gauge housing down wards to drive the
panel home and engage the two clips.
NOTE: Additional steps required to remove instrument
panel are detailed below.
1. Disconnect wiring from start button.
2. Disconnect wiring from oil pressure, oil
temperature and/or boost gauges.
Installation
1. Reverse removal procedure.
Twin Gauge Assembly
Removal
1. To remove the gauge housing, gently slide a flat
blade item (eg. large screw driver) into the rear
margin, closest to the windscreen, and pry the
gauge housing upwards to disengage the two
clips.

2. Rotate this end up to disengage the interlocking

fingers attaching the gauge housing to the air
register panel.
3. Disconnect the two gauge electrical connectors
and two gauge illumination connectors.
4. To disassemble gauge housing components:
Remove the four screws from the underside of the
gauge housing. This will enable the two gauge
cans to be removed.
5. To remove gauges from cans: Remove rear
screw cover by pressing down on the clipping
points using a flat blade item. This will expose two
screws on the back of each can. Remove these
and slide gauge out of can.
Installation
1. To install the twin gauge assembly, first make the
electrical connection four electrical connections at
the back of the gauges (two for gauges and two
for illumination).
