Camfil Pyro D Absolute High Temperature Specification

1.0 General
1.1 - Air filters shall be absolute (H14, H13) grade HEPA filters consisting of pleated microfine
glass media, an inorganic polymer sealant, a stainless steel enclosure with stainless steel
reinforcement channels.
1.2 - Sizes shall be as noted on enclosed drawings or other supporting materials.
2.0 Construction
2.1 - Filter media shall be water-resistant microfine glass media that is free of Bisphenol A,
Phthalate‘s or Formaldehyde.
2.2 - The media pack shall be sealed into the enclosing frame with fire retarding inorganic
polymer sealant.
2.3 - An enclosing frame of stainless steel shall form a rugged and durable enclosure. The
frame shall include
external channels of the same construction to maintain filter integrity during normal operation.
2.5 - A optional gasket shall be included on the (upstream, downstream, both upstream and
downstream side(s)) of the enclosing frame to form a positive seal with the filter holding
mechanism upon installation.
3.0 Performance
3.1 - Filter efficiency shall be (H14, H13) when evaluated per EN 1822. Each filter shall be
individually tested for global efficiency using Di-Ethyl-Hexyl-Sebacat (DEHS) and labeled as to
tested performance.
3.2 - The filter shall be capable of continuous operation to 660°F for up to 200 cycles as defined
by the manufacturer. It shall be capable to 750°F intermittent exposure.
3.3 - Initial resistance shall not exceed 1.16” w.g. ±5% at rated capacity.
3.4 - Manufacturer shall provide evidence of facility certification to ISO 9001:2008.
