The era from around 3000 BCE to 1100 BCE is often referred to as the "Bronze Age."

Copper was employed to produce jewellery, swords, and other items because it is more

durable than conventional construction materials like as clay and wood. Eventually, bronze

replaced copper as the preferred metal. During the Bronze Age, metalworking occurred for

the first time. Bronze replaced the earlier stone tools and weaponry almost immediately.

Because Bronze was much more durable than other metals, tools crafted from it were

considerably more durable and long-lasting, hence boosting their usefulness. In addition,

superior weapons were developed, which contributed to the winning of wars and the

subsequent growth of civilizations. Four separate Middle Eastern regions which are

Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, and Canaan emerged under the influence of bronze (Brooks,

2019).

Although views on the causes of the collapse of the Bronze Age differ, the consensus

is that a sequence of events occurred in fast succession over a short period of time. However,

as we all know, nothing can last forever. As a consequence of these developments, certain

civilizations, such as the Hittites, ceased to exist; for instance, the advent of iron led bronze to

lose its value, just as copper had. Numerous unfortunate events and excessive resource use

led to this.

By reducing overreliance or overuse of our natural resources, we may lessen the

global impact of our actions. The problems resulting from depleting our resources may vary

from being so severe that you have to go to considerable lengths to get the resources or that

you don't have any resources at all, in which case you'll have to find something to replace

them which might be impossible. This lesson may teach us to stop our exploitative use of the

planet's natural resources.
