The era from around 3000 BCE to 1100 BCE is often referred to as the "Bronze Age."

replaced copper as the preferred metal. During the Bronze Age, metalworking occurred for
the first time. Bronze replaced the earlier stone tools and weaponry almost immediately.
Because Bronze was much more durable than other metals, tools crafted from it were
considerably more durable and long-lasting, hence boosting their usefulness. In addition,
superior weapons were developed, which contributed to the winning of wars and the
subsequent growth of civilizations. Four separate Middle Eastern regions which are
Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, and Canaan emerged under the influence of bronze (Brooks,
2019).
Although views on the causes of the collapse of the Bronze Age differ, the consensus
is that a sequence of events occurred in fast succession over a short period of time. However,
as we all know, nothing can last forever. As a consequence of these developments, certain
civilizations, such as the Hittites, ceased to exist; for instance, the advent of iron led bronze to
lose its value, just as copper had. Numerous unfortunate events and excessive resource use
led to this.
