Everyone may use a telephone but how much do we know about it? The telephone was
invented by Alexander Bell in 1876. Bell was born in Scotland in 1847 and later he went to
live in the United States of America. He was interested in sound and wanted to send sound
through a wire. He did many experiments in his workshop there. He succeeded in inventing
the first telephone.
