 Title: Experiential learning – Visit to AR Super Market

Objective: The objective of this study is to identify the type of information system used to
print bills for the customers and the method of storing the data related to sales and
transactional data of the Business organization of AR Super Market

Process: AR Super Market is a hyper market whose headquarters is located in

gandhipuram and their branches are available in vadavalli and saravanampatti

● The billing in this super market is done by using the application called.
● This application is used only for billing purposes.
● To open the application, password should be entered, the biller will know the password.
● After entering to the application, a page with rows and columns will be displayed.
● The biller will have access only to the sales page.
● The biller will scan the products barcode, the product's name, cost and quantity will
automatically displayed in the table of content.
● After scanning all the products, biller will click on F6 to choose the payment mode.
● After the payment mode, biller will click on enter. The bill will be printed for the
customers..
PRODUCT:
Main customers:As the Super Market is located directly outside the college the main customers
are usually the college students. Also the people working in the offices around come to this Super
Market on regular basis.
