1. It is required to calculate the monthly storage disk volume (31 days) for a
system containing 16 cameras if using a resolution Low 10 KB, 30 FPS,
device running 24 hours.
3. Let's say for example a camera with a 1/3-inch sensor (h = 6mm wide), if
the focal length f of the used camera is f=119 mm, and the height of the
scene to be photographed is 18.4 m. Calculate the appropriate distance
to install the camera.
5. Define
• Focal length:
It is the distance between the camera lens and the sensor, measured
in millimeters. And it plays an important role in determining the
dimensions of the photographed scenes, and what we mean by
saying that the 8mm lens is not that the diameter of the lens is 8mm,
but that the focal length, which is the distance between the focus of
the lens and the optical sensor, is equal to 8mm
• View angle:
Viewing angle is a term for the amount of angle that the camera
covers, so the higher the value of this angle, the larger the area is
larger, but distant objects are less visible. (Remember that the
shorter the focal length, the greater the angle of view.)
• Optical Zoom, OZ:
In this technique, a mechanical mechanism is used to change the
location of the lens used in the camera, and thus change the focal
length of the lens So that it changes from the smallest dimension to
the largest dimension in steps called x, which is the result of dividing
the largest dimension by the smallest dimension
