My name is Mehedi Hasan Sany, a resident of Sarail, Brahmanbaria.

There are 3 of us
in my family, me and my two sisters. Both of my parents passed away a couple of years
ago. Since then my legal guardian is my maternal uncle, and to some extent my elder
sister. However, talking about my educational qualification, I completed my S.S.C
(Secondary School Certificate) from a renowned school named Sarail Annada Govt.
High School in Science stream under the Comilla board in 2019 with a GPA. of 4.17 out
of 5.00. After that, I took admission in Kazi Mohammed Shafiqul Islam College, and
continued my Higher Secondary Education in Science stream in the same year. Due to
the Covid-19, my exam was postponed to the month of December 2021, and I got my
result on 13th February 2022 where I obtained 4.92 out of 5.00.

After completing my Higher Secondary Education in 2022, I took a year off to deal with
a personal issue. In addition to dealing with personal challenges and building some
technical skills, I also took the opportunity to travel to different places of Bangladesh
and learn about different cultures during my study gap. I believe that this experience
has broadened my perspective and helped me to develop a deeper appreciation for
diversity and inclusivity. Although I am aware that this study gap may raise questions
about my ability to succeed academically, I believe that this experience has helped me
develop valuable life skills such as time management, self-discipline, and problem-
solving. Furthermore, I am now more aware of my strengths and weaknesses as a
student and have a better understanding of how to prioritize my academic
commitments. Hence, now I am excited to resume my studies and am confident that I
am well-prepared to start my undergraduate degree program.

Throughout my academic career, I have always been fascinated by the power of

education to transform lives and communities. I was fortunate enough to attend a high
school that fostered a strong academic environment, which installed in me a love for
learning and a desire to challenge myself. In addition to my studies, I have also been
involved in a variety of extracurricular activities, including scouting, debate, music, and
community service. Moreover, My decision to study Data Science stems from my
fascination with the power of data and how it can be used to solve complex problems. I
have always been interested in mathematics and computer science, and I found myself
drawn to Data Science because it merges both fields to create impactful solutions.

I strongly believe that pursuing a degree in Data Science will enable me to apply my
technical skills to solve real-world problems. The Bachelor's degree program at the
University of Hertfordshire in Data Science offers a comprehensive curriculum that
covers the fundamentals of data science such as statistics, machine learning, and data
visualization. I am particularly drawn to the program's emphasis on practical skills and
hands-on experience, which I believe will be invaluable for my future career.
Upon completing my degree, I hope to pursue a career in Data Science that allows me
to use my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact on society. I am particularly
interested in the field of healthcare and how data science can be used to improve
patient’s outcomes and healthcare delivery.

Since I considered my options for pursuing a bachelor's degree in Data Science, I

decided to complete my bachelors in the University of Hertfordshire, as its academic
and financial requirements, location, course module, curriculum all are ideal for me.
After researching several universities in the Uk, I was impressed by the academic
excellence and its welcoming community. Besides, University of Hertfordshire is ranked
601 in World University Rankings by Times Higher Education and has an overall score
of 4.3 stars, according to student reviews on www.studyportals.com. In addition to that, I
have looked for some student reviews on www.quora.com where I found that the
majority of the students are satisfied with the facilities of this institute, and it played a
vital role behind choosing the institute where I want to study in.

Bachelor in Data Science is offered by a few universities in Bangladesh but the ratio of
return from the investment is much higher if I get the degree from a world-ranked
university from a popular destination such as the Uk. Studying in the Uk will be highly
beneficial as it maintains a world class education standard. Therefore, after I complete
my graduation, I can easily find a job in my country with a handsome salary.

As a Bangladeshi student, I am excited about the prospect of studying in the Uk, a

country renowned for its excellent higher education system and world class universities.
Studying in the Uk would provide me an opportunity to immerse myself in a different
culture, meet new people, and widen my knowledge. Besides, studying and living in the
Uk will be much easier for me as I will not have to face any language barrier.
