Q.2 Create poster for {G20}

The G-20 was formed in 1999 with 19 counties and European Union. The G-20 are top
economies of the world accounting for nearly 90% of global GDP , 70-80% of world trade ,
2/3rds of global population and 50% of land area of globe. Initially it was formed for economic
reasons and stability but now it’s focusing on issues like climate change , global warming ,
international trade etc.This years G-20 summit was at Rome. WHO has made a self target to
achieve vaccination of 40% of global population by end of 2021 and of 70% by mid 2022. G-
20 have shown commitment to assist to achieve this target. They also discussed that by when
the economic stimulus will continue to the economy, so it was decided that till economy is out
of the shock of pandemic, stimulus will continue. For this money is needed which will come
tax, hence also agreed on global minimum tax which most likely shall be effective from
2023.Then COP26 also happened around same time. Here, developing countries reiterated
that promise made by developed countries to provide financial assistance of $100B per year
from 2020 for transition towards a green economy. The developed countries took a pledge
again to focus on this. So collectively also these decisions coming at a circular time when the
world needs to be financially stable to keep its economy stable. Implementation of plans and
achieving the targets set here will play a vital role in keeping global political environment
stable and conducive for growth of economies.

{DIGITAL INDIA ARTICAL}


India, a much more ambitious program, was launched on 1st July (Wednesday) in 2015 at the Indira
Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Delhi. It was launched by various top industrialists (Tata Group chairman
Cyrus Mistry, RIL Chairman, Managing Director Mukesh Ambani, Wipro Chairman Azim Premji, etc.). In
the meeting, they shared their ideas of bringing the digital revolution to the mass people of India from
cities to villages.Various events have been held in the presence of Information Technology companies
to cover 600 districts in the country. The Digital India program is a big step taken by the government
of India to make this country a digitally empowered country. Various schemes regarding this plan have
been unveiled (worth more than Rs 1 lakh crore such as Digital Locker, e-health, e-eduction, national
scholarship portal, e-sign, etc.
