A. MOTIVATION
(Teacher will show an illustration to the students and they read it. By then, the students will get a hint
on what they will going to learn on that certain day.)

B. PRESENTATION
The teacher will going to start the presentation and discussion about the said topics the Clauses.
C. DISCUSSION
The teacher will begin explaining the said topics and set some examples.
•A CLAUSES, just like tge phrase, is a series of words arranged systematically to make meaning,
however, unlike a phrase, a clause contains a subject and a predicate. A clause can function as sentence
by itself or part of the sentence.
There are two main classification of clause the Main clause and Subordinate clause.
A. MAIN CLAUSE
A main clause is an independent clause. it has a subject and a predicate, thus, it conveys a complete
sense. A main clause can stand by itself as a discrete sentence. When a main clause is separated from
other clauses, it is usually not referred as a clause but a sentence.
EXAMPLE:

B. SUBORDINATE CLAUSE
A subordinate clause is a dependent clause. Although it still has a subject and a predicate, it cannot
stand on its own as a sentence and needs a main clause to be complete.
