Final Draft For Poster IC 2024
We are pleased to invite you to submit an abstract of your research work for poster
presentation in 3rdInternational Conference & Exhibition on “Sustainability: Challenges &
Opportunities in Global Sugar Industry” scheduled to be held during 12th- 14thJanuary, 2024 at
VSI, Manjari (Bk.), Pune, India. The key objective of this conference is to provide opportunities
to the scientists, researchers, engineers, industrial participants, academicians and students,
pertaining to research and professional backgrounds to share their findings with global
participants and experts.
The conference aims to transfer innovative ideas and skills pertaining to modern
technologies in Sugarcane Agriculture, Sugar & other Allied Industries.
Posters are invited related to above-mentioned sessions. Posters presented on each session
shall be reviewed by subject Expert Committees and prizes shall be given to the 1st, 2nd and
3rdbest posters in each session. The Guidelines for Abstract submission and Poster
presentation is enclosed herewith for your information.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATION
Abstract of the papers related to thematic areas of the conference are invited for poster
presentation. Abstract should be typed in single space with maximum 300 words including title,
authors, address, keywords and email ID on A4 size paper in the form of soft copy in MS word
format. Abstract should reach the Organizing secretary latest by November 30, 2023.
Acceptance of the abstract for the poster presentation will be communicated by December 15,
2023.
Only registered candidates will be allowed to present their posters
Abstract should be of original work
Abstract for poster presentation should be of maximum 300 words
Abstract should be thoroughly checked for grammatical corrections
Abstract must be submitted by the presenting author for further communication
All abbreviations must be spelled out on first use
Scientific name of biological material must be in italic
Abstract must be in text form only
Graphs, figures, diagrams, images etc. should notbe included in given abstract
All abstracts will be published in the form of soft copy and will be provided to each
registered participant.
The expression such as “has been studied”, “in progress”, “will be under taken” should
be avoided.
References should not be cited in the abstract
All abstracts submitted will be reviewed by the expert committee and selection of
abstract for poster session will be communicated to the corresponding author

Presenting author should be underlined
Address /affiliation : Font size 10
Complete postal address with pin code followed by
email id of the presenting author
Abstract : Font size 12 in single space and left aligned
Poster preparation Guidelines
If accepted as a Poster Presentation, authors are requested to follow to the guidelines as under
The poster should be of standard size of 76 cm X 102 cm (width x height)
Narrate title, author names, address, keywords and email ID of the presenting author,
introduction, materials& methods, result, and conclusion in brief
The poster must have clearly visible type face that is not smaller than 16 point
Recommended Content: Maximum pertinent information should be provided in the
poster
If the subject matter is empirical, the presentation should reflect: the specific objective(s)
of the study/presentation; methods of data collection and analysis; summary of the
results obtained or anticipated; conclusions reached; and recommendations made
In the case of non-empirical posters, the presentation should ideally reflect: the specific
objective(s) of the presentation; key theoretical framework(s); presentation’s central
argument(s); conclusions reached; and recommendations made.
Presenters are responsible for mounting and removing posters from poster boards, and
should ensure that appropriate material is brought for this purpose (e.g., double-sided
tape).
Attractive prizes will be awarded to first 3 best posters in each of the following different
