Job Description
TITLE: Test Quality Assurance Analyst JOB CODE / GRADE: COR-331 / B155
DEPARTMENT: IS Quality Assurance FLSA STATUS: Exempt
REPORTS TO: Test (QA) Manager DATE: March 31, 2023

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Test Analyst is responsible for contributing to the testing efforts by generating test documentation,
providing early feedback to shape the product, and creating and executing manual and/or automated tests
using various tools and techniques. The Test Analyst works closely with other Analysts and reports to the Test
Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver Test Design, Test Execution, Test Library Maintenance, and Test Closure Results through
Manual and/or Automated Test Approaches
• Develop Test Plans with a Strategic Selection of Test Methodologies, including but not limited to
Data Validation, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and/or
Performance/Load Testing
• Partner with developers in the creation of Requirements so that they can be effectively tested using
Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Ensure deployment stability across all environments
• Identify and Test for unconventional cases outside of expected functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Responsible for adhering to department SLAs within Project Management and Test Related Tools
(i.e., JIRA)
• Experience using Standard Testing Life Cycle (STLC) methodologies

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE/TECHNICAL/OTHER:
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Information Science or Computer Science-related field a plus) or
equivalent work experience
Experience:
• 2-3 years of Software Testing/QA experience required
• Understanding of basic software quality assurance concepts and test methodologies (regression,
functional, unit, integration, code coverage, performance, etc.)
• Windows desktop application testing experience preferred
• Experience with Agile development process preferred, Scrum highly preferred with 2-3-week sprints
• Good understanding of application development and has the ability to implement testing programs a
plus
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software including Athena, Cerner, eCW, MEDITECH
and/or other EHRs a plus

Regulatory Knowledge
• Attentiveness to applicable data privacy laws and regulations (HIPAA, PHI, PI, etc.)

Technical/Software/Hardware:
• 1 - 3 years of experience with test automation tools and techniques preferred; Microsoft and related
tools (C / C++ / C#, Selenium) a plus
• Experience with Microsoft development stack and tooling is a plus (Visual Studio Test Professional,
TFS/Azure DevOps, and related technologies) a plus

Other:
• Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines
