Notes: Clear audio taken from the grand circle. Closing performance of the two-part production in
Melbourne. The audience was loud, and the energy was electric! It was fantastic to see this cast at the
top of their game. During the final scene when Harry tells Albus, “You’ll make a great wizard,” Ben
Walter ad-libbed, “But I don’t want to be a wizard, I want to go into pigeon racing,” which made them
both break character and laugh. Includes a speech at the end by Gareth Reeves, thanking and
farewelling the audience until the show reopens (re-imagined) in May.
