1. How to Register/Login into the Unified Business Portal while logging in for
the first time?
Click on the Create/Change Password. Enter you Agent EASI ID. (Starting
with 9000xxxxxx). OTP will be sent to your Registered Mobile Number. You may
login with your user id and OTP.
Contact your Regional Agency Co-ordinator. The RAC will fill in your details in
NAP. After updation in NAP, RAC can add your name in UB Portal through
his/her login.
UBP is showing that my license has expired, but I have renewed it. How can
I continue to work in Unified Business Portal?
My mobile number has changed and I am not getting OTP, What can I do?
All the agents may get in touch with Regional Agency Co-ordinators for
necessary correction.
All the RO RAC’s (Regional Agency Co-ordinators) have been given the
authority to modify/rectify agent’s details like mapped office code, license
expiry date, mobile phone number etc through their login.
4. I place business in more than one office, but in Unified Business Portal, I am
able to issue policies from only one office. What can be done?
As of now, it is possible to place business with one office only through UBP. The
feature of multiple office will be made available in the portal in course of time.
You may send a mail with all details like Make, Model, and Cubic Capacity (CC)
of the 2-Wheeler/4-Wheeler to ubp.support@nic.co.in. The concerned Portal
support team will arrange for updating the same in the portal.
6. When will the facility to issue Policies for Brand New 2-Wheelers come?
Long Term Bundled policies for Brand new 2-Wheelers have been activated to
all the users of the Unified Business Portal from 3rd December 2018. Unified

7. When will the facility to issue Policies for Brand New pvt. Cars come?

8. How much maximum discount can I allow for Motor Package Policies?
9. The owner of the Motor Vehicle is a corporate client or does not hold a valid
driving licence. Is it possible to exclude Compulsory PA cover?
Yes. On the page two, after Add-on cover related questions there is an “Owner does
not hold a valid driving licence” option with check-box. You may un-check the
box thereby not opting Compulsory PA cover in case the owner is a corporation
(or) does not hold driving licence
10. When will other lines of business like health, travel, Shop Keepers, etc, be
available in Unified Business Portal?
The Concerned support team is working on adding the 0ther lines of business.
These will be made available in subsequently.
11. When will other modes of collection like CD or Net Banking come?
Payments through CD accounts have been activated to all the users of the Unified
Business Portal from 26thNovember 2018.
Payments through Net Banking (Bill Desk) will be activated shortly.
12. Can I use my EASI CD a/c to issue policies through Unified Business
Portal? No, UBP CD a/c is different from EASI CD a/c.
There are different possibilities. In case, the above situation appears, the
following processes are to be executed step by step.
1. If the money has not been deducted and proposal is available in ‘Premium
Register’ and the ‘Payment Status’ shows as ‘Not attempted for
payment’. Then you can click on the ‘Green Tick’ and make payment and
generate policy.
2. If money has been deducted and the proposal is available in premium register
and ‘Payment Status’ is ‘Pending for Collection’ then you have to wait for
1 hours. Automatically the status should change to ‘Payment Successful’
and the policy will be generated and be available in the ‘Premium Register’.
3. If the status changes to ‘Payment refunded’ then the money refund process
will be initiated automatically (Refund may take Upto 3 working days). You
may proceed to make a fresh entry and make fresh payment.
4. If any other odd situation arises, you may send a mail with all details like
Agent Code, Insured’s name, Transaction id (starting with UBCDxxxxx), etc
to ubp.support@nic.co.in.
15. Can I see all my business that I have done through Unified Business
Portal?
Where can I get the Commission Report for the business that I have done
through Unified Business Portal?
After logging in, you can see a page where images of Car, Bike appear. On this
page, you will find links on the left side.
Click on ‘Premium Register’ > Choose ‘From Date & To Date’ > ‘Show
Report’.
A detailed report of all the business that you have done along with premium,
commission will appear.
If you are looking for any particular proposal/policy, you may type any details
(like proposers name, policy no. etc) in the ‘Search Box’. Unified Business

16. Which all browsers can I use Unified Business Portal on?
UBP does work on mobile phones or tabs including i-Pads and people are issuing
policies using these devices. However, at times you may feel some problem in
alignment of some fields depending on the Browser you have chosen. We
recommend the following steps for easy use of the portal in your Smartphone:
