Let us Analyze

Guide Questions:

1. What makes you think that those qualities mentioned above define a good teacher?

The qualities that was mentioned above really defined a good teacher, it makes
us think of how it shaped us as students. Having a teacher who have good teaching
qualities that makes his/her perform his/her role well is rare. They became our
favorite teacher because they really inspired us not just in studying but also in our
lives, that favorite teacher of us made us a lot of realizations in life. Seeing them how
they love their profession and being able to handle and understand each students life's
situation made them a good one, they became more than just a teacher to us and they
made us believe on ourselves. They still manage to put smiles on their faces knowing
how challenging being a teacher is and we appreciate them for being like that.

2. Assessing yourself now, do you think you already have those qualities? Why?

Yes, we think we already have some of those qualities. Not all but there are
qualities that we think we already have. We would not choose education as my course
if we don't see ourselves having some of those qualities. We can have those qualities
not just being a teacher to their students but we can have those by just communicating
with other people or showing what we truly are. Students usually think that a good
teacher are those who are approachable and shows a friendly attitude towards them.
That's why we desired to be a teacher who provides students with an enjoyable
education experience. There are more years to come before we become one but we
can see ourselves having a friendly conversation with our students and share our
knowledge to them wholeheartedly. Being yourself is already a great quality to be a
good future educator.

3. As a future teacher, what are you going to do to acquire and possess good qualities
of a good teacher?

As a future teacher, in order to acquire and possess qualities of a good teacher

we need to believe in myself that we can do my duties and responsibilities as a teacher.
Building relationships with our students is the most important thing we can do, we
need a strong foundation build on trust and respect in order to achieve quality learning.
We'll make my students believe that everyone can be successful.

B. Today I learned that We learned that the role of a teacher does not only revolve
around teaching the students academically, it is more than that. Teachers are all-in.
They put their best to do their duties not as source of knowledge but also of wisdom
that would help students grow into a person that they wanted to be. Teachers can act
as second parents; they provide outside academic guidance and mold them to become
a better version of their selves, teachers can also be community leaders; they can
empower others with their strong advocacy and leadership, lastly, teachers can be an
embodiment of professionalism because they learn something every day which gave
strength to their abundant skills. We can also say that they served as heroes these days
because even with the current setting of the educational system, they still continued to
move forward towards their goal of creating good citizens of this country. Thus, these
are our few takeaways from reading module 1 lesson 1.
