My guide
to simple housework by Natalie Powers

Who likes housework?

Not me, but I like my house to be nice and clean.
So, here are some tips:
Floors
I usually hoover every Friday and it’s really easy. It takes
about 15 minutes because I haven’t got a lot of furniture.
I also want to buy a Hoovering Robot. My sister has got one.
She turns it on in the morning before work and her floors are
always clean.

Kitchen
I can’t stand a dirty and messy kitchen. So, I never leave dirty
pots and pans for later. I clean as I cook, and I always tell my
family to fill the dishwasher when they finish lunch. It helps.

Garden
We’ve got a big garden, but I haven’t got time for it. I don’t often
mow the lawn. It’s a job my kids usually do, and they like it. One
of our neighbours has got a Robot Mower. It’s pretty cool, so
check it out!

1. Natalie likes housework. 4. Natalie doesn’t mind a messy kitchen.

3. Her sister has a Vacuuming Robot. 6. Natalie has a Robot Mower.

B. Discuss.
What kind of housework do you do? What do you like and what do you hate doing?
